Ball resident, Dee Dee Miller, has been a scion car owner for the past two years.  Her son, Cory, is starting out at Louisiana Tech in Ruston, LA and Dee Dee’s one wish was to have another Scion for him to drive back and forth to school.  That wish seemed nearly impossible when she received an e-mail from “all-star automotive”…it was a message of opportunity that turned into a dream come true.

“They sent us an e-mail and asked us to show video of how we used the car…kind of a family affair…he sat down on his laptop…they called and said you’ve won”.

Won a special edition scion t-c…valued up to 25 thousand dollars.  The car giveaway was part of a regional promotion put on by “Gulf States Toyota” - the distributor for Toyota and scion vehicles in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

“All Star” representatives say they’re proud to announce that one of their customers was chosen as the winner out of the 5-participating state applicants.

“So, they got the vehicle free of charge…completely paid for…no hidden fees…put gas in…drive off”.

Cory says he was previously driving a Mitsubishi eclipse, but with the keys of this new whip - that’s the last thing on his mind.

“With the eclipse…no game with this one…nice change”.

And, the millers say the scion gets pretty good gas mileage…which is music to anyone’s ears in this day and age…congratulations, scion owners!
