    I know this happened over a year ago – but I’m planning to buy an ‘06 xB soon, and I was ecstatic to hear the 1st gens can do road trips. (Yours is the only story available that illustrates this point). Sounds like you had a hell of a trip :) I’m looking forward to long drives meself; I only hope that, in the time that has passed, your opinion of the xB has not changed.
